Congress of South African Trade Unions
Trade Union Federation formed in 1985, a part of the Tri-partite Alliance with the African National Congress and the South African Communist Party

Federation of Unions of South Africa
Established in 1997, FEDUSA represents in excess of 500 000 members from more than twenty affiliated trade unions. As the second largest trade union federation in South Africa, FEDUSA is committed to providing exceptional service and adding value to all its affiliates, at an affordable affiliation fee.

National Union of Mineworkers
Formed on 5 December 1982 and is the largest recognised collective bargaining agent representing workers in the mining, energy and construction industries in South Africa.

National Union of Metalworkers of South Africa NUMSA
The largest metalworkers union (and second largest trade union) in South Africa with close to 232 000 members. It is an active affiliate of the Congress of South African Trade Unions (COSATU), the biggest trade union federation in South Africa.

National Education Health and Allied Workers - NEHAWU
Represents over 230,000 public sector workers in South Africa.

South Africa Democratic Teachers Union
SADTU represents teachers in South Africa.
